Islamabad High Court (IHC) has summoned in person joint secretaries of ministry of finance and establishment division on the matter of non appointment of deputy secretary Monopoly Control Authority (MCA) and has adjourned the hearing of the case till next week.
Chief Justice (CJ) IHC Aamer Farooq while moving to Assistant Attorney General (AAG) remarked read the law again at night if it is difficult to understand.
Expressing annoyance he remarked joint secretary should come and tell as to why the court’s order was not implemented in 7 years. One has been kept in “burzakh” since years and now you say the respective department has been closed.

The matter for not appointing deputy secretary MCA any where even after 7 years came up for hearing in the court.
The CJ IHC expressed annoyance over non implementation of court’s orders.

The CJ IHC remarked who was to implement court’s order. The substitute of the institution which was abolished may have come. Competition commission is whose institution. It falls under whose charge. I will issue show cause notice by calling finance secretary.
