NSU and Rashid Latif Khan University Joining Hands for Skilling and Reskilling of Pakistani Workforce

Islamabad: The National Skills University (NSU), Islamabad, and Rashid Latif Khan University (RLKU), Lahore, formalized a strategic partnership through a Letter of Understanding (LoU). This agreement aims to enhance Pakistan’s allied health sciences education landscape by fostering academic collaboration, research partnerships, faculty development, and student exchange programs. The signing ceremony, held at NSU Islamabad, was witnessed by prominent figures in the higher education sector, including Mr. Noor Amna Malik, Managing Director (NAHE) from the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan, and senior academic and administrative leadership of both universities. The agreement sets the stage for both institutions to jointly design and implement new educational programs, promote collaborative research, and facilitate faculty and student exchanges to enrich learning experiences and professional growth. The Senior leadership of Rashid Latif Khan University, including Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Rashid Latif Khan, a well-known figure in medical sciences, and CEO Ms. Sabahat Khan, recognized this collaboration as an important milestone for skilling and reskilling of the Pakistani population in the aftermath of the continued emerging generative AI technologies. According to Ms. Sabahat Khan, the NSU and RLKU have common goals of creating a Community of Lifelong Learners, Responsible and humane Global Citizens, and Champions of collective Success.
