ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Nasrat Khan has criticized the PML (N)-led government, alleging that it has turned the life of the common man into a living hell. He pointed out that due to skyrocketing prices of electricity, gas, and petroleum, the public has been pushed to the brink, with some resorting to suicide. In a statement, Nasrat Khan asserted that the government and its allies have an agenda focused solely on corruption and exploiting the people. He further stated that it is a fact that the IMF’s demands have been officially accepted in the budget announcement. In response to a question, Nasrat Khan emphasized that the country’s issues will not be resolved from the government’s tenure until its departure. A PTI leader added that despite the passage of legislation in the US Congress regarding electoral fraud in the February 8 elections, the government’s credibility has been severely tarnished. DNA
