Chaired by Deputy Commissioner (DC), Khyber Capt (Retd) Sanaullah, a high level meeting in connection of Khyber Pass Economic Corridor and Southern Link Road was held here in the DC office last day.
Additional DC(relief)Nauman Ali Shah,Additional DC(finance)Haseeb-ur- Rehman,Assistant Commissioner,Jamrud Dr Amir Zeb,representatives of Forces, Khyber Police,Tesco,National Highways Authority, Planning & Development, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Economic Zone,Nespak Consultant and other were among the participants.
Matters like land acquainted for District Secretariat, Police, and Forces besides route in Jamrud for Southern Link Road and Khyber Pass Economic Corridor and site selection for 220 KV and 132 KV grid stations were thoroughly discussed.
It was decided that the officials of National Highways, Security Forces, and Planning &Development Nespak Consultant keeping in view the suggestion, presented in the meeting will formulate a strategy to remove hurdles in Southern Link Road and Khyber Pass Economic Corroder.
The officials were directed that joint efforts will be needed to complete people welfare schemes on time.
