ISLAMABAD
Islamabad High Court (IHC)has ordered to remove the name of former federal minister Shireen Mazari from Exit Control List (ECL).
The petition of PTI former leader Shireen Mazari seeking removal of her name from ECL came up for hearing before Justice Samman Rifat Imtiaz for hearing Thursday.
Shireen Mazari appeared in the court along with her counsel. NAB prosecutor Raffey Maqsood told the court NAB had recommended in March for removing name of Shireen Mazari because she is not accused in 190 million pounds NAB case.
Assistant Attorney General (AAG) said we had also informed Prime Minister by writing letter on March 27.
Justice Samman Riffat Imtiaz remarked cabinet has many other works. We do this job,. The court ordered for removal of Shireen Mazari name from EC and wrapped up the petition. It is pertinent to mention here that IHC had ordered to remove name of Shireen Mazari from Passport Control List (PCL) on December 01.
