Minister for Energy Omar Ayub Khan on Friday acknowledged receipt of 300 million dollars from Asian Development Bank (ADB) for bringing about energy sector reforms.
In a tweet on Friday, Economic Affairs Ministry said it will also help to strengthen forex reserves and stabilize exchange rate.
The Minister expressed that approval of this program showed the confidence of International Financial Institutions on the reform agenda of the government and its successful implementation.
He reiterated the government’s commitment to further continue reforms in different sectors including economy, energy, capital markets, revenue and governance.
