One third of country is submerged but Imran Khan is busy in holding public meetings: Sherry Rehman


ISLAMABAD: Minister for climate change Senator Sherry Rehman has said one third of the country is submerged in floods water and 80 districts have been declared calamity stricken but Imran Khan is on the mission of keeping alive his narrative.

She said this in a statement issued here Saturday.

She went on to say over 33 million people were affected due to flood in the country, 1265 people died and over 1.4 million homes were destroyed but Imran Khan is busy in holding public meetings.

Millions of flood affectees are looking for help under open sky but Imran Khan says he is arousing the nation for revolution, she remarked.

Imran Khan is not only giving message to Sindh and Balochistan but also to flood victims of Punjab and KP that he is only concerned with his politics and he has no relevance with the difficulties and lives of the people.

People of Punjab are looking for relief and rescue but Punjab government helicopter is giving pick and drop to Imran Khan from Bani Gala to venue of public meeting, she claimed.
