Washington : Federal minister Asad Umar while terming opposition protest as storm in cup of tea has said opposition is talking of pulling down the government for the sixth time.

“ destabilizing Pakistan is Indian declared policy. India tries to destabilize Balochistan”, he said this during a press conference in Pakistan embassy in Washington.

He went on say inflation is not only in Pakistan but it has hit all over the world. The work on CPEC project was done by our government faster than previous government. Agriculture was not part of CPEC. We have included it in CPEC, He added.

During last year development expenses were incurred 100 percent, he pointed out. The development budget during the last year was Rs 600 billion. The expenses have been incurred more.

Projects of Rs 200 billions were approved during the last two to three months, he said adding we are working for accelerating the pace of investment in the country.

About Afghan situation he said Pakistan wants a peaceful and stable Afghanistan. Durable stability in Afghanistan will come due to an inclusive government. We want an inclusive government in Afghanistan.

He went on to say unfortunately two super powers occupied Afghanistan. Harm was caused to neighboring countries due to 40 years war in Afghanistan. Mistake was committed by ditching Afghanistan in 90 decades. I hope the world will not repeat the mistake of 90 decades now.
He underlined that elementary indicators which have come from Taliban are positive
