KALAYA: The students of Orakzai tribal district have not received scholarships for the year 2018/19 and most of the schools in the area lack basic facilities. This was stated by District Education Officer (DEO) Zahidullah Shah while addressing the inter-district sports gala function at the Jirga Hall at the district headquarters and later talking to media on Saturday. The district education officer said there are total 493 educational institutions in Orakzai, including two boys colleges, two girls colleges, three higher secondary schools for boys, 31 high schools, 32 middle schools and 426 primary schools. He said there is no headmistress in any girls high school in Orakzai.
