Over 300 students trained in soft skills at ICP Gala

PESHAWAR: A Career Readiness Gala and Golden Merit Certificate ceremony was held at the historic Khyber Union Hall, Islamia College Peshawar, with Prof. Dr. Ihsan Ali (former Vice Chancellor ICP) as the chief guest. The event was also graced by prominent academic figures including Mian Syed Kamal (Provost), Prof. Fahim, Prof. Niaz Ajiz, Mr. Shakeel Ahmad, Dr. Sher Ali and Prof. Atif Khan. Dr. Sadaf, Dr. Saima Urooj, Mr. Ali Hoti and Dr. Waqar Un Nisa were also present at the event. The event drew participation from over 300 students, including more than 160 female students, and was organized by the Deputy Director Admissions, Mr. Amir Izhar, with the support of Islamian Students Society. Aimed at equipping students with essential soft skills and career preparedness, the lead training session was conducted by Mr. Wahid Ullah, CEO of CIMS, who provided practical insights into career development strategies. Mr. Raja Sohail Shah, Director of SR International, also addressed the students and shared valuable information regarding foreign scholarship opportunities. SR International also provided sponsorship for the gala. The event recognized academic excellence across departments, with the top ten students from each department receiving Golden Merit Certificates. In recognition of their dedicated services, Heads of Departments (HoDs) and administrative officers were awarded commemorative shields. News Desk
