As many as 669 suspects have been arrested during an effective police operations across the provincial metropolis, said a handout.
Police under the new strategy for the prevention of crimes, several dangerous gangs involved in street crime and other serious crimes have been busted.
The Capital City Police claimed to have busted 50 gangs and arrested around 669 suspected criminals allegedly members of the gangs involved in street crimes, theft, robbery, robbery and other crimes.
Police said that among the arrested accused are also accused belonging to the neighboring country of Afghanistan.
The gangs who commit crimes at the point of arms in different areas of the city including posh, residential, suburban, suburban areas of the city.
Similarly, women gangs involved in burglaries and looting by breaking into houses are also included in the arrested suspects
During the course of actions, a total of more than Rs2. 68 million cash and other valuables have been recovered from the possession of dangerous gangs.
52 gold ornaments were taken, 246 stolen and stolen mobile phones were also recovered from the arrested dangerous gangs.
28 stolen and stolen vehicles and 70 motorcycles, stolen rickshaws and weapons used in various incidents were also recovered.
