Newly appointed SSP Traffic Ishtiaq Khan Saturday visited Havelian to review the overall traffic situation and assess measures for improving traffic flow and public convenience.
During the visit, he conducted a detailed inspection of the weigh stations established by the National Highway Authority(NHA), including Ayub Bridge and other key points.
On the occasion, the SSP Traffic issued instructions to the officers concerned to ensure smooth traffic flow, strictly prevent overloading, and provide maximum facilities to commuters.
He also stressed the need for effective coordination among relevant departments to promptly address traffic congestion and prevent accidents, emphasizing that all possible measures should be taken to improve traffic management in the area.
