Leaders belonging to political parties held a protest gathering along with the local people regarding the inclusion of Pak-Afghan border Angoorr Adda in the transit route, solving the problems faced by the business community and the local people in South Waziristan.
On this occasion, political leaders and local tribal elders discussed in detail about the problems faced by the people at Angoor Ada border.
That the Pak-Afghan border is 500 km less than all the borders of Pakistan to Central Asia and also 1400 km less than all the internal borders of Pakistan from Gwadar to Central Asia.
Therefore, the federal, provincial government and the military leadership took notice of this and took steps to solve the problems immediately.
Secretary General Maulana Rafiuddin Wazir from JUI, Ayaz Wazir from ANP, Imran Mukhalis Wazir from Pakistan Peoples Party, Ajab Gul Wazir from PTI, Saifur Rehman Wazir from Jamaat-e-Islami, Taj Wazir from the business community and the constituted of 24 members committee president Khan Malik Wazir said.
That Angoor Adda being the most important and nearest passage of trade with Central Asia, this border should be regarded with great importance,
Angoor Adda Border Terminal should be recognized as part of CPEC.
The speakers said that by transiting this border with the customs authorities, relevant facilities, wide roads, electricity, mobile network with 3G and 4G, DSL system and bank approval should be given, Then Pakistan and Afghanistan open at Angoor Ada zero point a market should be created.
Addressing the protestors, the political leaders said that apart from the border issues, dysfunctional educational institutions should be functional, dysfunctional health centers should be functional and NADRA center should be established for the local residents so that the basic life problems faced by the people are solved.
The speakers said that Ahmed Zai Wazir tribals living on both sides of Angoorr Ada border should be allowed to come and go in grief and joy along with food items at the gate to a limited extent.
The speakers further said that people belonging to Ahmadzai Wazir Nation should be allowed to carry house hold goods and market goods without customs clearance,
Since it was previously cleared by customs, it should be re-issued in the same old manner.
At the same time, the Ahmadzai Wazir tribals should be allowed to walk to the border under the national identity cards, So that the local ID card holders do not face any problem in crossing the border.
In the end, PPP leader Imran Mukhlis and ANP leader Ayaz Wazir said that the people of Angoor Adda will support whatever strategy they decide in the future to solve the problems they are facing in the border, and we will support them in every forum.
However, the two political leaders threatened and said that if the government does not end the problems faced by the people at the border, they will protest strongly and extend its scope to other cities of the country.
