PESHAWAR
A jirga was held in Miranshah under the supervision of Pakistan Army wherein a large number of tribal elders and community leaders from North Waziristan participated. The purpose of the jirga was to formulate a joint strategy between tribal leaders and security forces to maintain lasting peace in North Waziristan. The GOC Miranshah welcomed the participants and appreciated the crucial role of tribal elders.
