Hockey team of Board of Intermediate Education Karachi led by Ryan-ur-Rehman has reached Islamabad to participate in Pakistan Inter Education board Sports Gala 2021.
Former hockey player Khalid Munir along with hockey team coach, Iraj Hussain as assistant coach and Abrar Ahmed as team manager Other players of the team who have gone to Islamabad are Muhammad Tahir, Syed Hamza Tariq, Muhammad Umar Anis, Asghar Hussain, Abdul Samad Sheikh, Syed Hassan Mujtaba, Rehman Allah, Syed Basit Ali, Ryan-ur-Rehman (Captain) Muhammad Huzaifa Shahid, Syed Muhammad Abbas. Syed Muhammad Kamil Raza, Muhammad Muneeb and Usman Ahmad Khan.
In their first match played at Blue Astroturf of Naseer Banda Hockey Stadium at Jinnah Sports Complex, the hockey team of Board of Intermediate Education Karachi defeated the rival Benazirabad Board by two goals to nil.
Ryan-ur-Rehman scored a beautiful goal in the 53rd minute to give the team a one-goal lead. The lead of the winning team was maintained till the end of the match.Fahad Ali Khan and Zahid Ali officiated in this match. The next match of Karachi Board will be against Lahore Education Board.
