Pakistan’s ambassador to the United States Sardar Masood Khan has called on Foreign Minister Makhdoom Shah Mehmood Qureshi at the ministry of foreign affairs.
Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi congratulated Sardar Masood Khan on his nomination as ambassador to the United States.
Shah Mehmood Qureshi on the occasion said that Pakistan desires to have broad-based and multidimensional relationship with the United States.
The Foreign Minister said the government is focusing on geo-economics for economic stability of the country.
He stressed that the world attention should be drawn towards the investment opportunities available in Pakistan through economic diplomacy.
Shah Mehmood Qureshi said to the Sardar Masood Khan that with the appointment of an experienced and well-versed diplomat like you, Pak-US relations would become more strengthen.
Ambassador designate to the United Nations Sardar Masood Khan thanked the foreign minister and assured that his instructions would be implemented.
