Pakistan has extended hand for logistic support in connection with immediate evacuation of US and NATO forces from Afghanistan.
District management has issued directives to all the VIPs hotels in Lahore, Islamabad, Karachi to immediately end the booking in the respective hotels. Law enforcement agencies have evolved security plan as well. Sources said US had requested Pakistan it should help US in evacuation process in Afghanistan.
Pakistan while accepting this request have started taking steps on emergency basis for bringing thousands of US and NATO forces and citizens from Afghanistan to Pakistan.
Sources said that the August 31 was deadline for completion of evacuation of US and NATO forces and citizens from Afghanistan but US and NATO Forces are in the process of preparations still.
An emergent meeting was held in interior ministry with reference to security. All the law enforcement agencies, district management officers attended the meeting.
Later through a notification the district management directed all private hotels, motels and guest houses were directed to get vacate its rooms forthwith which have been booked already and they should make no further booking till August 31.
