ISLAMABAD
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi on Sunday praised Pakistan’s security forces for carrying out successful operations against Indian-sponsored militants in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, saying the elimination of 21 militants marks a significant achievement in ongoing counterterrorism efforts.
In a statement, the minister congratulated the security forces on the successful operations and acknowledged their role in thwarting the plans of militant groups operating in the region. He said the killing of 21 militants during the operations reflects the effectiveness of the security forces in addressing security threats.
Mohsin Naqvi commended the professional capabilities of the security personnel involved in the operations. He said the forces demonstrated commitment and operational preparedness while conducting actions against militants and preventing their activities.
The interior minister stated that Pakistan’s security forces remain determined to continue operations until militant networks are dismantled. He said the campaign against terrorism will continue and that the forces are committed to ensuring peace and security across the country.
Naqvi noted that the successful operations highlight the ongoing efforts of security institutions to counter militant threats and protect citizens. He said the forces have consistently carried out their responsibilities in challenging circumstances and have made important contributions to national security.
