PESHAWAR
Pakistan Lacrosse Performance Development Team secured third position at the prestigious Okinawa Open Lacrosse Challenge Tournament.
A total of 10 international teams from different countries participated in the tournament. The event was organized by Japan’s renowned organization FogoJapan, which also arranged a 10-day pre-tournament training camp for the Pakistan team.
During the training camp, prominent Japanese coach Jin Sagawa provided modern technical and tactical training to the national side.
The Pakistan team was led by Head Coach and Team Captain Tofoor Zareen. Other team members included Mian Mujeeb-ur-Rehman, Muhammad Suleman, Faheemullah, Shahab Akbar, Uzair Khaleji, and Ali Hassan.
Event Director Chris Gino praised Pakistan’s performance, stating that the team displayed exceptional discipline and skill throughout the tournament.
This achievement marks another significant milestone for Pakistan lacrosse at the international level and reflects the commitment of the Pakistan Lacrosse Federation towards the development of the sport and strong performances in global competitions.
The federation also extended its gratitude to FogoJapan, Coach Jin Sagawa, and all the organizers for their valuable support in making this success possible.
