PPP senator Salim Mandiwala has said parliament is under pressure on the matter of summoning Chairman NAB Justice (Retd) Javed Iqbal and it seems as if NAB will eliminate NAB.
He cautioned if NAB chairman service tenure is extended then the national economy will stand devastated.
He said this while talking to media men here Wednesday outside Accountability Court (AC) here. He held parliament itself is under pressure on the matter of summoning chairman NAB in parliament.
Chairman Senate says leave the chairman NAB and he should not be summoned, he pointed out.
I have been indicted at last but I will say I have been indicted wrongly by AC , he remarked. We will bring chairman NAB in this court. Javed Iqbal will be presented as witness in this court.
He demanded the process of harassing businessmen should be stopped. Chairman NAB delivers lecture for hours on TV. Prime Minister should appoint chairman NAB as finance minister of the country.
