PESHAWAR: The anti-corruption establishment has booked a patwari and two others here over an illegal land transfer. A statement issued here stated that the anti-corruption Pakhtunkhwa registered FIR against concerned revenue staff for fake land transfers and arrested a Patwari. Action was taken after the establishment received complaints regarding fake land transfers in Mashogra district Peshawar, on which Anti-Corruption Khyber Pakhtunkhwa started an inquiry. During the inquiry, a detailed review of the relevant records proved that fake land transfers were made with the connivance of revenue staff. After the permission of the competent authority, FIR No. 1 under Section 419/420/467/471/34 PPC 5(2) PC was registered in Peshawar. Patwari Tariq Javed, Ishtiaq Ahmed and Khalid Khan were named in the FIR, after which Anti-Corruption arrested Patwari Tariq Javed. DLP Report
