PBCC gives central contracts to 17 players

ISLAMABAD : Pakistan Blind Cricket Council (PBCC) on Wednesday awarded central contracts to 17 players for a term of six months.
Talking to APP, PBCC Chairman Syed Sultan Shah said the central contracts were awarded for a term of six months from July to December 2016.
While giving contracts we have kept in mind the performance of players in domestic cricket and in the series against Sri Lanka held here this year.
The players are divided into three categories of central contracts. “Category A player will get Rs 12,000 while Category B and C players will get Rs 10,000 and Rs 9,000, respectively,” he said.
Category A includes Muhammad Jamil, Nisar Ali and Badar Munir.
Category B has Amir Ishfaq, Anees Javed and Yasir Khan.
Category C comprises Muhammad Akram, Haroon Khan, Sanaullah, Muhammad Ayaz, Muhammad Waqas, Israr ul Hasan, Ijaz Hussain, Muhammad Arsalan, Muhammad Afzal, Muhammad Imran and Matiullah.
