Special Assistant to Chief Minister for Information and Public Relations Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif has said Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) would not compromise on its demand for the early and transparent elections in the country, saying the incumbent federal government was running away from polls due to the party’s chairman increasing popularity graph in the public.
In a statement, he said that PTI chief Imran Khan popularity has pushed back the leadership of Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) from holding elections in the country, adding that the provincial Assembly of KP would be dissolved soon Imran Khan signal for it.
Barrister Said the governments of both provinces Punjab and KP are at the discretion of Imran Khan and whenever he orders their government to be dissolved at the movement.
“Imported government should not be under any illusion. Chairman PTI Imran Khan has signaled that the Assemblies of both provinces will be dissolved this month,” he added.
He added that PTI’s demand is free and transparent snap polls but the government is running away from it, adding that PDM parties have no future in the country politics as they have exposed themselves in the last few months with their performance.
They have joined hands only to regain the power seat and have no intention and plan to steer the country out of the ongoing financial and political crisis, he alleged.
“The reason behind delaying the polls as the PDM leadership is fearful of losing majority in the assemblies,” he added and said that PTI in the next general elections would secure majority seats in KP and other provinces as well as in the National Assembly and will form the next government.
