General Manager Commercial Peshawar Electric Supply Company (PESCO) Chudry Yaqoob Tuesday directed 100 per cent implementation of photo meter reading in all circles.
Presiding over a meeting of Superintending Engineers (SEs) of Khyber Circle and Hazara-1 Circle here at Wapda House he set four targets including reduction of line losses, enhance recoveries, implementation of 100 percent photo meter reading and implementation of 100 percent equipment removal orders (EROs).
The meeting was attended by SE Khyber Circle Tahir Jamal and SE Hazara-1 Circle Qazi Muhammad Tahir, Xens and ROs of both Circles.
The GM urged to provide facilities to public and guide them in resolving their electricity problems at their door steps.
He advised the officers to do job with honesty and devotion, replace all defective meters immediately and directed to accelerate drive against power theft and lodge proper ‘FIRs” against the culprits.
He further said that line staff must ensure the safety measures in letter and spirit and directed provision of all safety instruments and material to the line staff.
Earlier SE Khyber Circle Tahir Jamal and SE Hazara-1 Circle Qazi Muhammad Tahir briefed GM Commercial about their circles.GM directed them to further improve their performance.
The GM directed to accelerate drive against defaulters and disconnected power supply to defaulters if dues not paid and not restore power supply till the payment of dues.
