Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Dr Mian Saeed Ahmed on Friday distributed cash rewards and commendation certificates among officers and personnel of the City Traffic Police in recognition of their outstanding performance.
The awards were presented during a ceremony held at Malik Saad Shaheed Police Lines, which was also attended by Chief Traffic Officer Zah department and that recognising their services was essential for promoting professionalism, improving institutional performance and strengthening public also instructed officers to enhance public awareness of traffic laws and further intensify action againstidullah Khan.
Addressing the gathering, the CCPO said the police department would continue to implement its system of rewards and accountability with complete transparency and without discrimination.
He said dedicated and high-performing officers were a valuable asset to the department and that recognising their services was essential for promoting professionalism, improving institutional performance and strengthening public confidence in the police.
Dr Saeed Ahmed directed traffic police personnel to strictly follow the department’s “First Salam, Then Kalam” public interaction policy, emphasising courteous behaviour towards citizens. He also instructed officers to enhance public awareness of traffic laws and further intensify action against traffic violations.
The CCPO further directed traffic police to ensure the smooth flow of traffic across the city, strictly enforce no-parking zones and make effective use of all available resources.
At the end of the ceremony, cash awards and commendation certificates were presented to officers and personnel in recognition of their exemplary services.
