Police on Friday claimed to have recovered a 12-year old boy from kidnappers and arrested four culprits.
According to SP Cantonment Division Aitzaz Arif, the student of Iqbal Public School Mustafa son of Abid Khalil was kidnapped for ransom. He said that a police team consisting of DSP Investigation Akhtar NaseerKhan, SHO Peshthakhra Police Station Umar Afridi and SHO Police Station Saraband Ruman Ali recovered the boy and also arrested four kidnappers of a gang.
He said that the minor boy was recovered in a successful operation after conducting investigation on modern scientific lines. While disclosing the abduction due to the money transaction dispute with the father, the names of the other accused involved in the incident have also been received by the police and a special team has been formed to arrest them. During a comprehensive investigation on modern scientific lines, the special team conducted raids in various areas of Khyber district, including the suburbs of Peshawar, after receiving secret information. Police finally recovered the boy and arrested the kidnappers, police said.
The arrested persons have been identified as Zia-ul-Haq, Kashif, Asif,and Nawaz, residents of Khyber Bara district. During an important operation, a kidnapped child student was recovered from Tirah area of Khyber district.
During the operation, two motorcycles used in the incident were also recovered from the possession of the accused, residents of Khyber district.
