Health advisor visits HMC to inquire after injured of Jamrud incident

PESHAWAR: Advisor to Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for Health Ihtisham Ali, visited the Hayatabad Medical Complex to inquire after the injured participants of the Jirga being held in Jamrud. During his visit, Hospital Director, Dr. Shehzad Akbar, and Administration Director, Dr. Sher Zaman accompanied him on a tour of the hospital’s various departments. Ihtisham Ali met with the injured Jirga participants admitted to different wards and ICU of the hospital. He assured that all possible facilities are being provided to the patients free of charge. The Health Advisor stated that Hayatabad Medical Complex and Jamrud Hospital are on high alert to provide medical facilities to participants of the Jirga. Emergency medicines and medical staff are available 24/7 to ensure prompt care. Preventative measures have been taken to safeguard against dengue fever, including spraying in and around the Jirga grounds.
