City Traffic Police Peshawar in a publicity and awareness campaign to restore lane traffic and enforce traffic rules. Chief Traffic Officer Abbas Majeed Khan Marwat has issued directives for lane discipline on citizens and transporters on Khyber Road and University Road.
DSP Education and his team were also present on the occasion. The education team also distributed pamphlets on traffic law enforcement among the citizens. Chief Traffic Officer Abbas Majeed Khan Marwat said that implementation of traffic rules will not disrupt the flow of traffic including reduction in accidents so that citizens will be able to reach their destination on time and if any person violates the traffic rules Not only is it disrupting the traffic but it is also an irresponsible citizen who is adding to the problems of the citizens. Accidentally, long queues of vehicles get stuck in which even ambulances get stuck, which can lead to loss of precious lives.
He said that citizens should play their role in improving the traffic system in the city by enforcing traffic rules and co-operate with City Traffic Police Peshawar.
