Petition from PTI founder seeking early hearing of case against Khawaja Asif approved

ISLAMABAD: Islamabad High Court (IHC) has admitted for early hearing petition filed by PTI founder Imran Khan against Sessions Court decision related to the charges leveled by defence minister Khawaja Asif in respect of Shaukat Khanum hospital. The miscellaneous petition seeking early hearing of the case came up for hearing before Chief Justice (CJ) IHC Sarfraz Dogar Friday. Omar Zia ud Din advocate counsel for the petitioner appeared in the court. The court directed to fix the case in the second week after winter vacations. It is pertinent to mention here Khawaja Asif through a press conference had leveled allegations of misuse and money laundering through Shaukat Khanum fund. PTI founder has filed defamation suit of Rs 10 bilion against Khawaja Asif since 2012. The court while directing to fix the central case after court’s vacations adjourned the hearing. ONLINE
