The Ph.D scholar Engr. Irfan Ahmad Khan, National Institute of Urban Infrastructure Planning (NIUIP), University of Engineering & Technology, Peshawar has successfully defended his PhD thesis titled “Envisioning Zero Waste in Marble Industry: A Dynamic Approach”. He presented his research work in a public seminar held the other day.
He is the first ever PhD produced by NIUIP, UET Peshawar. His research work has been supervised by Prof. Dr. Rashid Rehan, Director NIUIP. His research evaluation committee (REC) included Prof. Dr. Atta Ullah Shah, Vice Chancellor, Karakoram International University, Gilgit, Eng. Amir Khan Mohmand, CEO Water & Sanitation Services Company, Mardan, Dr. Salman Saeed, Assistant Professor, NIUIP UET Peshawar and Prof. Dr. Khan Shahzada, Department of Civil Engineering, UET, Peshawar.
