Punjab Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs Malik Faisal AyubKhokhar has presided over an important meeting to review the preparations of upcoming Inter-Division phase competitions of Khelta Punjab Games at the National Hockey Stadium on Tuesday.
Secretary Sports and Youth Affairs Punjab Muzaffar Khan Sial, Director General Sports and Youth Affairs Punjab KhizarAfzaalChaudhry, Chairman Lahore Waste Management Bilal ZulfiqarKhokhar, Sports Coordinator Malik AnooshKhokhar, ManzoorKhokhar, Director Admin Dr M Kaleem, Director Sports RanaNadeemAnjum and Deputy Director Zahoor Ahmed attended the meeting.
Secretary Sports and Youth Affairs Punjab Muzaffar Khan Sial, Director General Sports and Youth Affairs Punjab KhizarAfzaalChaudhry presented a detailed briefing about the preparations of mega event.
Addressing the meeting, Punjab Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs Malik Faisal AyubKhokhar said that Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif will inaugurate the final phase competitions of Khelta Punjab Games at a colourful opening ceremony at the Punjab Stadium on January 30.
Punjab Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs Malik Faisal AyubKhokhar said that the Khelta Punjab Games are was organized under the slogan of ‘Khelayga Punjab, Jeetayga Punjab’. “The true promotion of sports culture and healthy activities among the younger generation across the province is the vision of Punjab Chief Minister”.
Punjab Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs Malik Faisal AyubKhokhar further said that more than 2,000 players including 1,300 male and 700 female athletes and officials from all the divisions of Punjab will attend the inaugural ceremony. “Khelta Punjab Games is a suitable platform for emerging athletes to demonstrate their sports skills”.
