Right-sizing continues in the institutions by the federal government, it has been decided to transfer the control of NESPAK, a subsidiary of the Power Division, to the Cabinet Division.
The Prime Minister gave green signal for transferring NESPAK from the Power Division to the Cabinet Division.
All the assets and liabilities of NESPAK were also transferred to the Cabinet Division under the Rules of Business, 1973.
All the regulatory procedures should be completed within one month and the report would be sent to the Prime Minister.
According to the sources, Prime Minister received many complaints related to NESPAK, many employees in NESPAK have completed their term but they are still working, some of the employees are too old but they are still in working in on their positions.
