PM, CM Punjab should step down: PML-N

ISLAMABAD, Sep 08 (Online): PML-N has demanded of Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan and Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Usman Buzdar to step down as people and bureaucracy have expressed no confidence on them.

“people and bureaucracy have expressed no confidence on PM and CM Punjab therefore, they should tender resignation and go home”, this was said by PML-N spokesperson Maryam Aurangzeb in a statement issued here Tuesday.

She said IG Punjab refusal for working with CM Punjab bears evidence about failure of governance. IG Punjab statement is slap on the face of Shafaf chilli.

What IG Punjab has said on the issues of misconduct is a matter of grave concern, she stated. The statements in the very simplest term means that corruption, nepotism and incompetence reign supreme in Punjab.

The expression of no confidence by IG Punjab on CM Punjab is manifestation of annihilation of governance in the province, she remarked.

She alleged the rulers are using the institutions for the sake of their politics and we have been pointing out this since the last two years.

She said interference is being made in the institutions. The rulers should at least respect the chair on which they are saddled, she underlined.
