Transparency for Karachi package mandatory: Akram Rana


ISLAMABAD : The President of Textile Plaza Owners Association (TPOA), Muhammad Akram Rana has said that the transparent enforcement on Karachi Transformation Plan should be mandatory.
The best material should be used for carpeting of roads and sewerage system of the city must be cleared in all nullas through permanent end of encroachment and make sure not to re-encroaching again on nullas, footpaths and alongside the roads.
Traffic is also an important problem for Karachiites and different governments had been doing its best to solve this problem but it has been complicated every day and thousands of people use Auto and Chinchi Rakshaw to reach their work and homes neither sincere efforts nor practical steps took in this connection. The government should concentrate on this matter and provide latest public busses according to world standard.
Akram Rana revealed that the Karachi Water and Sewerage Board (KWSB) with close connection with tankers mafia create fake water shortage and sale water on heavy prices, the government should take action against all involved culprits and make sure that no one can create water shortage as well as not to sale water individually or through water mafia. A strict monitoring system should be finalized for stop water-stealing while the K-4 plan should also be completed as soon as possible.
TPOA President requested PM Imran Khan to announce a special package for rain and coronavirus affectees and small and big businessmen, he further demanded that the government should completed the Karachi Circular and Green Line plan s on top priority basis.
