PM departs for official visit to Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Turkiye

Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on Wednesday departed for four-day official visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Turkiye from April 15 to 18, 2026.

He is accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Information Minister Attaullah Tarar, and Special Assistant Tariq Fatemi.

During his bilateral visits to Saudi Arabia and Qatar, the prime minister will meet with the countries’ top leadership to discuss ongoing bilateral cooperation, as well as regional peace and stability.

Following these engagements, the prime minister will travel to Turkiye to attend the 5th Anatolia Diplomacy Forum.

At the forum, he will participate in the Leaders Panel alongside other world leaders, where he will present Pakistan’s perspective on key global and regional issues.

On the sidelines of the event, he is also expected to meet Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and other international leaders.
