ISLAMABAD
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Saturday, departed Madinah al- Munawwarah for Pakistan after completing his visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Governor of Madinah Prince Salman bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al Saud saw off the prime minister and the Pakistani delegation at Madinah Airport, PM Office Media Wing said in a press release.
During the visit, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Saudi Crown Prince and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan signed the Makkah Joint Defence Agreement, which would open a new chapter in defence cooperation and fraternal ties among the three countries. During his stay, prime minister also performed Umrah.
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Ishaq Dar, Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Asim Munir, Defence Minister Khawaja Asif, Minister for Information and Broadcasting, and Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Tariq Fatemi accompanied him during his visit.
