PM Imran Khan summons cabinet meeting today


Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan has summoned cabinet meeting today (Tuesday).

The cabinet will review the overall political and economic situation of the country and the government strategy in the backdrop of all opposition parties getting united against the government.

The government sources said PM will take the cabinet into confidence about his visit to China. 17-point agenda will also come under consideration during the meeting.

The agenda includes re-organization of board of directors of State Life Insurance Corporation , appointment of external member of monetary policy committee, appointment of new chairman in board of management of new tech. approval for DG Pakistan Broadcasting corporation, imposition of tax and duty on auto sector under mini budget, approval of Pakistan cloud first policy, establishment of special courts for overseas Pakistanis and approval of property act-2022.

The annual report of National Economic Council will also be presented in the cabinet.

The cabinet will also endorse the decisions of committee on institutional reforms and committee on transport and logistics.
