ISLAMABAD, April 05 (Online): Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan has expressed grave concern over the murder of judge of Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) besides directing the interior minister Sheikh Rashid to arrest the accused forthwith and bring them to justice.
Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmad called on the PM Monday and the two exchanged views on the overall political situation of the country and security situation in the meeting.
The PM while voicing grave concern over murder of ATC Judge Aftab Afridi in Swabi directed interior ministry to probe into matter and arrest those involved in murder forthwith.
Taking notice of terror related incidents in areas of former FATA, PM said the law enforcement agencies be made more active in the country. No one will be allowed to disrupt law and order situation in the country. All the resources will be utilized for peace in the country.
We are ready to talk to opposition at every level on electoral and legal reforms. But if some one thinks I will compromise on corruption this will not happen at all”, he remarked.
Sheikh Rashid informed the PM about his recent visit to Gilgit-Baltistan and interior ministry matters besides taking the PM on progress achieved so far.
