KHYBER: Pakistan Muslim League, Nawaz (PML-N) is the real political platform that safeguards rights of minorities of the country. The party has the competency to expel the country out of the financial crises. In a press statement Chairman Christian community, Khyber and Neighborhood councilor Arshad Masseh said that PML-N under the dynamic leadership of Mian Muhammad Nawaz Shrief was the poor representative political party in the country and always facilitated the minority and under privileged groups during its government. He added that since 1914 the community had been deprived of their basic rights and after the PML-N party came in power in 2015, for the first time ever, the local Christians granted category-B domicile. We have affiliation with PML-N and intend to serve the minority of the merged district under the banner of the party, he added and asked the authorities concerned to provide an opportunity to represent the minority in Provincial or National Assembly. He demanded of the PML-N central leadership to nominate their unanimously applicant, Khurram Shehzad as candidate for Provincial or National Assembly minority seats for the merged tribal district.
