On the election of Shahbaz Shrief as 23rd Prime Minster (PM) of Pakistan, workers of Pakistan Muslim League, Nawaz (PML-N) in Khyber took out to the streets in jubilation and distributed sweets to celebrate the delighted moments
Hundreds of PML-N volunteers while cheering rushed to the roads and squares in Jmarud and Bara sub-divisions and expressed their delight our the Premiership of their leader,PM Shahbaz Shrief.
A huge crowd under leadership of local PML-N elite Sardar Azam Afridi gathered at Babe-Khyber, Jamrud where they expressed their solidarity with the PML-N party and chanted slogans against what they said, the selected ousted government of Imran Khan.
Speaking on the occasion Sardar Azam Afridi said that the people had fed up with the poor performance of the Imran regime, therefore masses across the country took a breath of sigh after they got rid of the Pakistan Tehreeke Insaf government.
Under the dynamic leadership of the Prime Minister Shahbaz Shrief, the country will be put on track of progress and prosperity, he remarked.
On the first day of his government, the PM announced an increase in salaries and recommencing of Benazir Income Support Program shows his affiliation with down trodden citizens of the country.
PM Shahbaz Sharief is a seasoned politician and will take out country of economic crises and with support of people he will resume the development era of PML-N in previous years.
The participants chanted slogans in favor of forces,judiciary and other pro-democratic elements.
At the end the workers exhibited fire work that amused the residents.
