DI KHAN: The district police on Friday arrested the alleged killer of an 18-year old transgender and recovered the weapon used in the murder. District Police Officer Najam ul Hassan took immediate notice of the murder and constituted a special investigation team to identify and arrested the killer. The police team conducted raids while investigating the murder on scientific grounds and arrested the alleged accused Rashid Kalim while escaping to Islamabad on a local transport. The police on the identification of the accused recovered the weapon used in murder of the transgender. During the initial investigation it was revealed that the accused killed the transgender on refusing to have a friendship with him. APP
