Police on Saturday claimed to have arrested six proclaimed offenders in an important operation carried out in the limits of Mathra Police Station.
According to SHO Mathra, Abdullah Jalal, the operation was carried out under the supervision of DSP Warsak, adding that six proclaimed offenders were held in a very suspicious condition.
He said that the arrested persons have been identified as Ghalib, Shah, Roohullah, Zeeshan, Aftab and Amin.
They were involved in various criminal activities and during the operation police have also recovered one bottle of alcohol, four Pistols and several cartridges, police said and added that cases have been registered against them and further investigation was launched.
During the initial investigation, the accused have revealed their involvement in various crimes, SHO Abdullah Jalal added.
