Acting on tip-off, police claimed to have arrested two arms smugglers in the limits of Hashtnagri Police Station here on Friday.
Police during the action also seized three modern M-16 rifles, two 9mm pistols and three 30 bore pistols, one and a half thousand different bore cartridges.
SSP Operations Haroon Rashid said that circle of investigation would be extended to reach other members of accused in district Bannu and Peshawar.
Police also have arrested two persons allegedly involved in the bid of smuggling. It further shared that both accused belong to district Bannu and cases have been registered and investigation have been launched for further information, said a handout.
