Police conducts search operations, PO among 19 held

On the special instructions of CCPO Peshawar Syed Ashfaq Anwar, the targeted search and strike operation has been intensified in order to maintain law and order in the provincial capital Peshawar.
During the targeted search and strike on the Gujran group in the area, Pakistan Army and other law enforcement agencies were also supported.
Operations were conducted under the command of SP Sadar Division Muhammad Zaman Khan.
Police teams under a special plan raided the hideouts of Gujran group of mafia and anti-social elements in Kaga-Wala area of Badhbir police station.
DSP Sikandar Shah, SHO Iftikhar Ahmed, Police Commandos, Local Police, Ladies Police and other units participated in the search and strike operation.
Police claimed to have apprehended 19 people for their alleged involvement in various crimes, including the wanted proclaimed offender Rahm Sher son of Shah Zamin.
The remaining arrested persons have been identfied as Zarkhan, Rahat Sher, Tahir, Mirwali, Rahm Sher, Umeer, Shehzad, Falak Sher, Shams, Sartaj, Wakil, Aghazm, Hasan Sher, Saqib, Ikramullah, Rahim Dad, Mujahid, Shahid and Dad Sher.
Police furthered that a series of comprehensive investigation is going on with the detained accused from different angles.
Meanwhile, during the search and strike operation, a large number of arms and ammunition were recovered after checking the motor vehicle coming from Darah Adam Khel.
Peshawar . During the operation, 7500 cartridges of different bores, three M4s, one Kalashnikov and various weapon parts were recovered.
