In a courageous and intense two-hour confrontation, police personnel at the Hassankhel Police Station successfully repelled a terrorist attack, demonstrating exceptional bravery and high morale.
According to a statement, the police engaged the militants with modern weaponry, including sniper rifles, effectively thwarting the attackers’ plans.
During the exchange of fire, two terrorists were killed, and several others were believed to have sustained injuries before fleeing the scene, leaving behind the bodies of their slain accomplices.
A large contingent of police was swiftly deployed to the area following the incident. The region has since been cordoned off, and a clearance operation was currently underway to ensure the complete neutralization of any remaining threats.
Police maintained that timely and effective response by the Hassankhel Police prevented what could have been a major security incident, underlining the force’s vigilance and readiness in the face of terrorism.
