Chief Minister (CM) Punjab Maryam Nawaz has said politics is name of arduous journey and hard path adding politics is other name of service.
Maryam Nawaz inaugurated first Nawaz Sharif cardiology centre in Murree.
Addressing inauguration ceremony of Nawaz Sharif Cardiac centre in Samli Sanatorium hospital Murree she said Murree is our second home after Lahore.
Our relation with Murree cannot be described in words , she added.
No facility for treatment of cardiac disease was available in Murree and surrounding areas. Heart patient has no enough time and he breaths his last while reaching Rawalpindi from Murree.
Therefore, I thought there should be cardiac centre here. Now this centre has started functioning within some months.
Samli sanatorium hospital was upgraded for the first time after 1930. Now people of Murree will have not to go outside Murree for treatment. We have not only made announcements but we have taken practical steps too.
We are bringing a mammoth project to address water issue in Murree. During previous time, Murree was used for trees cutting only. PTI government turned it into city of concrete. She announced soon train will be run from Murree to Rawalpindi to facilitate the people. Green buses will soon reach Murree.
15 new green buses are being provided for Murree for convenience of people of Murree. There will be separate compartments for women in these buses. These will be monitored through CCTV cameras.
Stern action will be taken against spoilers of beauty of Murree, she announced.
