ISLAMABAD: Power tariff is likely to be hiked by 20 paisas per unit amid the reports CPPA has filed application with NEPRA in this regard. CPPA has taken plea in the petition that 12.52 billion units electricity was generated in the month of September. The cost of production of electricity remained 126 billion rupees. The electricity was produced at the rate of Rs 34.61 per unit through furnace oil. Electricity per unit was generated at the cost of Rs 10.74 through gas. Online
