Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) district Badin on Tuesday organized a massive protest rally and sit in at Shah Nawaz Chowk Badin and rally was also taken place from Shah Nawaz Chowk to Badin Press Club which led by PPP senior leadership including MNA, Mir Ghulam Ali Talpur, Aajiz Dhamrah, Info Sec, PPP Sindh, Jam Ali Asghar Halipoto, President, PPP Badin, Muhammad Ismail Rahu, Haji Taj Muhammad Mallah, Bib Yasmeen Shah, Arbab Amanullah, Mir Allah Bux Talpur, Dada Halipoto, Qabool Khatian, Peer Muhammad Saleh Qureshi, Fida Hussain Mandhro, Zahida Khaskheli, Farzana Jatoi and others.
A large number of men and women from different cities and towns, and other office-bearers of the district level, participated in the rally. The participants carried party flags and placards, inscribed with slogans against the project during the protest rally and sit in.
While addressing the protesters, PPP senior leaders including MNA, Mir Ghulam Ali Talpur, Senator Aajiz Dhamrah, Info Sec, PPP Sindh, Jam Ali Asghar Halipoto, President, PPP Badin, Muhammad Ismail Rahu, Haji Taj Muhammad Mallah, Bibi Yasmeen Shah, Arbab Amanullah, Mir Allah Bux Talpur, Dada Halipoto, Qabool Khatian, Peer Muhammad Saleh Qureshi and others said that construction of six new canals from River Indus is anti-people of Sindh.
