Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Secretary General Syed Nayyar Hussain Bukhari said Friday that the PPP Working Committee has taken important decisions regarding matters pertaining to national interest and dire situation of the country.
In a statement on Friday, the PPP Secretary General said that not compromising on national security and stability and standing by the side of the people was his party’s history.
He said that his party would strongly oppose the slavish mini-budget in the parliament. “The party will also set up protest camps outside the parliament against the external control and anti-people mini-budget.” He added.
Nayyar said that PPP will also invite other opposition parties to its anti-budget protest camp. He said that the Islamabad Long March which will sart from Mazar-e-Quaid on February 27 would end with ‘country’s liberation from the most corrupt rulers’.
He said that the legislation of economic slavery from the parliament would be tantamount to bargaining for the sovereignty of the country.
