A meeting regarding the preparations for Kashmir Black Day was held under the chairmanship of Additional Deputy Commissioner (Finance and Planning) Syed Fahad Iftikhar, in which all concerned officers participated.
The meeting reviewed in detail the arrangements for the observance of Kashmir Black Day on October 27 and finalized the schedule of activities to be held across the district.
It was decided that the main event will be organized at Bacha Khan Medical College, Mardan, where Commissioner Mardan Division, Mr. Nisar Ahmad, will attend as the chief guest.
Similarly, ceremonies at the tehsil level will be arranged under the supervision of the respective Assistant Commissioners, with active participation of students, civil society members, and public representatives.
The meeting also decided to display banners and posters at prominent places across the city carrying messages of solidarity with the Kashmiri people and condemnation of Indian atrocities in the Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).
